Partnership for Change works to ensure financial independence for women and youth in order to help build sustainable communities – economically, socially and environmentally. PfC develops and applies new tools, methods and forms of cooperation in order to foster sustainable development. We build partnerships among visionary and solution-oriented people across sectors, borders and backgrounds and provide financial and operational support. This is how we work to achieve our overall goal of enduring social change:
Education and training
Work is the key to financial independence. In addition to creating jobs, we enable individuals to acquire the training needed for jobs in their local community. We assess needs locally and implement measures to offer relevant vocational training.
We believe that financial independence is the path to sustainable development – both for the individual and for society at large. For most people, work is the only secure path to financial independence. That is why PfC works to create jobs as an instrument of enduring social change.
People with the knowledge and willingness to establish new businesses can play an important role in development work. We focus on identifying talented individuals and entrepreneurs who can help create sustainable development in their local communities.
Raising awareness and changing attitudes
Since PfC was first established, we have focused on raising awareness and shaping attitudes. We emphasise topics related to social change and effective development work, and focus on women and youth as agents of change to develop sustainable communities.
