Menelik Childcare Centre Reopens
The successful launch of the newly renovated Menelik Elementary School Childcare Centre took place mid September!
Thanks to the local volunteer committee, the government partners, Et Rikere Liv and PfC, 90 children now have a safe, nurturing environment, allowing low income mothers to work.
Key Highlights:
• Empowering Women: With access to quality childcare, mothers can work without worry, contributing to their families’ economic stability.
• Enhanced Learning: The centre offers educational materials and trained staff, fostering and stimulating children’s growth.
• Sustainable Development: This initiative supports long-term early childhood education in Addis Ababa, benefiting some of the city’s most vulnerable groups.
PfC played a pivotal role in renovating the facility and training staff, ensuring every child receives quality care.
