Women’s Entrepreneurship Day

Globally, women own 1 of 3 businesses. Yet, they face significant barriers like limited access to financing, lack of childcare support, and gender bias in the workplace.
Women entrepreneurs are powerful agents of change, driving innovation, creating jobs, and fostering resilience in their communities.
In Ethiopia many women juggling unpaid care responsibilities while striving to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.
This is where PfC comes in. We focus on creating solutions that empower women to succeed, like establishing sustainable childcare centers that enable mothers to pursue economic opportunities without compromising their children’s development. When women can work and thrive, families and communities grow stronger. And today 19 November – Women’s Entrepreneurship Day – we celebrate all entrepreneurial women because we understand the important role they play in the community.
Investing in women’s success is key to achieving gender equality and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
