Industrial park childcare center
On February 27, at Yirgalem Integrated Agro-Industrial Park – IAIP, we marked a historic milestone: The official inauguration of the first industrial park childcare center!
Renovated and furnished with support from the Erna & Knut Eng’s Children Foundation, this innovative center will start by serving 50 children, but can accommodate up to 90 children, empowering families and boosting workforce productivity.
We were honored by the presence of H.E. State Minister of Industry Hassan Mohamed and State Minister of Women and Children, H.E Hikma Keyredin Mohamed, የሴቶችና ማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር Ministry of Women and Social Affairs – who joined us to mark this transformative milestone and jointly presided over the opening ceremony.
Research shows that quality childcare is a catalyst for economic inclusion and gender equality, providing women the freedom to pursue professional growth while ensuring the next generation receives the best start in life.
